Abstract

Comparative Study of the New Pre-primary Education Degrees in the European for Higher Education (ESHE)Salto de línea Salto de línea We seem to be living a period of great transcendency for university life in our country, taking into account the reform of study plans within the European framework.That is why we have decided to meditate, in the first place, on the declarations as regards the European Space for Higher Education so as to check their incidence in university studies in the main European countries and, on the other nad, establish a comparative processing/methodology (with variables such as likeness, tendencies, etc.) among them. In the second place, and owing to the great social demand resulting from this reform,we will focus on teachers' training concerning Pre-primary Education in our country and the current proposals raised concering the future degree titles such as the following ones: 240 credits ECTS concerning teaching time, the possibility to obtain the Initial University Studies Certificate after having passed 120 credits and the necessity to devise and defend a work or project once students reach the so-called Teacher's Degree, both in Pre-primary and Primary Education. Then, we will deal with Teaching Degrees in Pre-primary Education: models currently present at the European level, competences included in the curriculum, etc. Finally,we will present some conclusions in this respect as well as possible applications of this study in the future, such as the following ones: The introduction in the new Teaching certificate of an educational model-paradigm covering the different aspects of education; the attainment of both personal and professional dignity concerning current graduates on teaching; the facilitation of the links between theoretical education and practical experience in classrooms; the contribution to the establishment of links between university and society.
