Abstract

International Federation of School Sport

Sport school is one of the main concerns for families and educational institutions. At the beginning of the 70's the International Federation of School sport was formed which, through the dissemination of the International Charter of School Sport and the activities that it promotes, tries to establish and disseminate the principles of Sport at school age. Spain was the organiser and plays an active part in this organisation, and to coincide with the European Year of Education through Sport, has generated interesting projects for active participation of Spanish youngsters; every school project for the next few years should be planned with its conclusions in mind.

Resumen

El deporte escolar es una de las preocupaciones prioritarias, tanto de las familias como de las instituciones educativas. A principio de los setenta se constituy ó la Federación Internacional de Deporte Escolar que a través de la difusión de las Carta Internacional de Deporte Escolar y las actividades que promueve, intenta establecer y difundir los principios del Deporte en estas edades. España fue país organizador, forma parte activa de esta organización y con motivo del Año Europeo de la Educación a través del Deporte ha generado proyectos interesantes de participación activa de los jóvenes españoles con cuyas conclusiones se deberán planificar los proyectos escolares de los próximos años.
