Abstract
Towards an expression of different cultures in the classroom: perceptions of a multicultural educationSalto de línea Salto de línea The content of this article deals with the results obtained in an investigation which was done to immigrant pupils, autochthonous pupils, teachers of Primary and Secondary Education and counselors from the province of Jaén, as well as with students of teacher´s degree and educational psychology of the University of Jaén. The aim of this investigation was to know the perceptions of the sectors indicated on the multicultural phenomenon in order to design programs that favour the insertion of the inmigrant student body. The results refer to the perception that contents these sectors have in relation to academic, and social aspects curriculum, climate of the classroom, training needs, education practice, family participation, resources and opinions about the immigration, among other variables. There will be presented, on the one hand, the design of investigation and the results obtained from the extracted samples, by means of both quantitative and qualitative technologies. Finally, the main conclusions are of the study gathered as well as the offers of performance. Salto de línea
Resumen
El contenido de este artículo trata sobre los resultados obtenidos en una investigación realizada con alumnos inmigrantes, alumnos autóctonos, profesores de Educación Primaria y Educación Secundaria y orientadores de la provincia de Jaén, así como con estudiantes de las titulaciones de Maestro y Psicopedagogía de la Universidad de Jaén. El propósito que perseguía dicha investigación era conocer las percepciones de los sectores indicados sobre el fenómeno multicultural con el fin de diseñar programas que favorezcan la inserción del alumnado inmigrante. Los resultados hacen referencia a la percepción que tienen estos sectores con relación a aspectos académicos, sociales, contenidos curriculares, clima de aula, necesidades formativas, práctica docente, participación familiar, recursos y opiniones sobre la inmigración, entre otras variables. Se presentan, por una parte, el diseño de investigación y los resultados obtenidos de las muestras extraídas, mediante técnicas de corte cuantitativo como cualitativo. Por último, se recogen las principales conclusiones del estudio así como las propuestas de actuación.
