Abstract
National Evaluation System of Educational Performance: Ireland
This article describes the national evaluation system of educational performance in Ireland. The article comprises three sections. Section one describes the development of the evaluation system to the present day in the context the objectives of the Government Department of Education. Section two identifies problems inherent in the system. Section three describes a system of monitoring educational performance which is aimed at overcoming these problems and the necessary conditions for its successful implementation
Resumen
Este artículo describe el sistema nacional de evaluación de resultados educativos en Irlanda. Se compone de tres secciones: la primera, describe el desarrollo del sistema de evaluación hasta este momento, dentro del contexto de objetivos del Departamento de Educación del gobierno; la segunda, identifica los problemas inherentes al sistema y la tercera, describe un sistema de supervisión de resultados educativos que pretende resolver estos problemas, así como las condiciones necesarias para que su cumplimiento se realice con éxito
