Abstract

Adapted-content sport, a need for development

It is a long route to reach Sport ; it has been said by clear minds that this could have been the game of those who mature, in terms of their neuro-biology and psychology; that is to say, those who grew as a whole person. In the first place, we professionals of physical education are the mediators responsible for ensuring the right route is followed; second, we are responsible for showing our students with specific needs, the adequate sequence of content that allows them to associate every step with the previous one; also for the instilling of the achievement expectation, which is the stimulus for intrinsic motivation. At the end of the route we will find people who had an intellectual, emotional, social and physical development a sufficiently interesting as to provide them with a solid support that allows them deal with the new stage as professionals with duty to society.

Resumen

Para llegar al Deporte se ha de recorrer un largo camino, se ha dicho muchas veces y por mentes bien claras que éste pudiera ser el juego de los que maduraron; tanto neurobiológicamente como psicológicamente hablando. Es decir, de los que maduraron como personas. Nosotros, los profesionales de la Educación Física, somos, en primer lugar, los mediadores responsables de que ese camino se transite en el orden adecuado; en segundo lugar, somos responsables de poner ante nuestros alumnos con otro tipo de necesidades, las secuencias de contenidos adaptados que les permitan asociar fácilmente cada paso con el anterior, además de poner en marcha la expectativa de logro que será la responsable de movilizar la motivación intrínseca. Al final de este camino, fácilmente nos encontraremos con personas que hicieron un desarrollo madurativo, intelectual, emocional, social y físico, lo suficientemente interesantes como para disponer de un soporte sólido que les permita abordar su nueva etapa como futuros profesionales con compromiso social.
