Award for the Best Spanish Department – Spanish Language Assistant Team

• Description:Salto de línea Aiming at fostering good practice in the coordination of the Spanish Language Assistants´ work within the Modern Language Departments in which they are integrated, the Spanish Embassy’s Consejería de Educación announces the Award for the Best Spanish Department - Language Assistant Team.
• Participants:Salto de línea Spanish (or Modern Foreign Languages) Departments from schools in the United Kingdom that host a Spanish Language Assistant during the 2015-16 school year.
• Requirements: Salto de línea Entries must be submitted jointly by the Head of Department and the Language Assistant.
• Prizes: Salto de línea Diploma for the Department. Diploma for the Language Assistant.
• ProcedureSalto de línea o The Department must send to the Consejería de Educación (20 Peel Street, London W8 7PD) a video (maximum length: 5 minutes) containing an example or examples of the work carried out by the Language Assistant in coordination with the Department. Salto de línea o The following aspects will be taken into account in the evaluation the submitted works:Salto de línea  Reception of the Language Assistant by the school and the Department. Salto de línea  Organisation of the Language Assistant’s work.Salto de línea  Relationship between the Language Assistant and the Department.Salto de línea  Participation of the Language Assistant in the life of the school.Salto de línea  Participation of the Language Assistant in the life of the community where the school is located.
