Ayudas para un curso intensivo de inmersión lingüística en inglés

Los beneficiarios asistirán a un curso organizado por empresas contratadas por este Ministerio, debiendo abonar una parte del coste.

The beneficiaries will attend a course organised by companies contracted by this Ministry, at their own expense.

Eligible scholarship students

A maximum of 2,400 scholarships

• To be born between 1st January 2005 and 31st December 2008.
• Have obtained the status of scholarship recipient from the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, and Sports in the 2024-2025 academic year for one of the studies mentioned in the next section, according to the Resolution of March 13, 2024, from the Secretary of State for Education, which announces general scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year for students pursuing post-compulsory studies. • Be enrolled in the 2024/25 course in any program of the following studies:
  • Upper secondary education
  • Professional music and dance education
  • Intermediate Vocational Education
  • Intermediate level of plastic arts and design
  • Intermediate level of sports education
  • Official language courses at intermediate or advanced level
• Have passed all subjects of the 2023-2024 academic year by the end of the course with a minimum final grade of 9 points in the English subject. In the case of applicants enrolled in bilingual education but who did not take English as an individual subject the previous year, the grade obtained in the English subject of the fourth year of Compulsory Secondary Education will be considered.
• The selection of candidates will be made in a single phase, ranking students based on the grade obtained in the English subject. An additional 1.50 points will be added to this grade if the applicant is a first-time awardee. For these purposes, first-time awardees are those applicants who have not previously received this type of scholarship. Preference will be given to students with a higher score.

Assistance for the stay and participation in a one-week intensive English language immersion program in Spain, in a full-board residential setting. The grant does not cover transportation to the facilities, which is the responsibility of the student. Additionally, to complete the total course price, the student will necessarily pay 100 euros to the company assigned to them.

• The application must be made through the electronic processing access button located at the top of this page. After filling in the required information, the applicant will receive a template or certificate, which must be printed and submitted to their educational institution for verification of the academic data needed to assess their application.
• Once this certificate is obtained, the applicant will scan it and attach it through the software application they used previously. Only then will they be able to complete the application submission process.

Therefore, it is very important to start the process well in advance in order to complete everything before the application deadline. Additionally, the instructions provided in the application form must be carefully read.
