Spanish Resource Center in Seattle

This center is an educational outreach initiative (MoU) between the University of Washington, the Ministry of Education of Spain (MEFP) and the Office of the Superintendent of Public Education of Washington (OSPI).

Located at the University of Washington in Seattle, and known as the Center for Spanish Studies, its main mission is to promote the study of the Spanish language and the appreciation and understanding of the cultures that use this language as a means of expression.

Objectives

• Promotion and dissemination of the Spanish language and the Hispanic cultures
• Offering didactic resources in Spanish, on a consultation or loan basis, in various types of support
• Support and promotion of bilateral educational agreements through the Spanish and American Conversation Assistant programs.
• Provision of information on programs of the Department of Education in the United States and other Spanish institutions.
