Enhance Your Language Program with a Native Spanish Speaker

Bringing a native Spanish speaker into your school provides students with daily exposure to authentic language and culture, boosting their confidence in communication while fostering global awareness. But this opportunity goes beyond just language learning—you'll be welcoming a dynamic, young, and enthusiastic recent graduate who is eager to immerse themselves in American culture while taking their first steps into the teaching world.

Under the guidance of a teacher, these assistants bring fresh energy and unique perspectives to the classroom, enriching the learning experience. To ensure they make the most of their time in the U.S., we ask that their work schedule be Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday, allowing them the flexibility to explore the country or pursue further studies.

What Schools Need to Provide

To host an assistant, schools must offer one of the following:

✅ Lodging, meals, and transportation (preferably with a host family or a similar arrangement),

OR

✅ A financial stipend if these needs cannot be directly covered.

Support for Schools

Throughout the application process and the duration of the program, the local education advisor from the Spanish Embassy serves as the main point of contact for schools. They provide guidance, answer questions, and ensure a smooth experience for both schools and assistants. Schools can rely on their support to navigate the requirements and maximize the benefits of hosting a native Spanish speaker.
