Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. The Embassy of Spain has partnered with Middlebury to offer a guaranteed $10,000 annual scholarship towards a master’s degree for all NALCAP alumni. Find out more Nueva ventanahere. In addition, if you decide to apply, Middlebury will waive your application fee.

The Middlebury Language Schools offer scholarships to all NALCAP alumni to cover up to 100% financial need for: an MA in Spanish, which you can complete in one summer in Vermont and an academic year in Madrid, or in four summers in Vermont and Buenos Aires, or an MA in Applied Languages: Spanish, which you can complete in one summer in Vermont and an academic year in Madrid. Students may focus on Migration and Development Studies, Cultural Heritage and Tourism Studies, or on Language Teaching and do an internship in Spain as part of their studies.

Boston University

We are pleased to announce our partnership with Boston University Wheelock. BU Wheelock would like to encourage qualified current and former participants in the North American Language and Culture Assistants Program (NALCAP) to apply to study in its Master of Arts in Teaching Modern Foreign Language Education, Specialization: Spanish and its Master of Education in World Language Education.

BU Wheelock will make available to NALCAP alumni three (3) scholarships per year for full-time study in the Programs, awarded over the Fall and Spring semester within an academic year: one scholarship in the amount of 50% off the full-time tuition rate and two additional scholarships in the amount of $10,000 each. In addition, NALCAP alumni and participants will receive a guaranteed 33% tuition discount for pursuing part-time study at BU Wheelock and for enrolling in courses as non-degree seeking students.

The U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program enables American undergraduate students with high financial need to study or intern abroad through scholarships of up to $5,000. Students studying critical need languages are eligible for scholarships up to $8,000. For over 20 years, the Gilman Program has provided access and opportunity to study abroad for more than 38,000 exceptional U.S. undergraduate students, who have gained skills critical to their personal and professional development, as well as for our national security and economic prosperity.

The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program is a program of the U.S. Department of State with funding provided by the U.S. Government and supported in its implementation by the Institute of International Education (IIE).
