Non-university diplomas

The recognition/validation process is only required for courses equal to or higher than grade 10, since for lower grades, the student who has studied in Canada will be directly incorporated into the course that corresponds to him/her in Spain according to age and year of birth. This means that, in the case of Canada, the only courses that must be validated are those completed in grades 10, 11 and 12.

Please note that non-university studies also include:

Professional artistic education

  • Professional Music Education Technician Diploma
  • Diploma of Technician in Professional Dance Education
  • Degree of Technician in Plastic Arts and Design
  • Higher Technical Degree in Plastic Arts and Design

Higher artistic education

  • Higher Certificate in Music, in the corresponding speciality
  • Higher Certificate in Dance, in the corresponding speciality
  • Higher Diploma in Dramatic Art, in the corresponding specialisation
  • Higher Degree in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, in the corresponding specialisation
  • Higher Degree in Plastic Arts, specialising in Ceramics or in the corresponding speciality of Glass
  • Higher Degree in Design, in the corresponding speciality
  • Master's Degrees in Artistic Education approved by this Ministry

Sports Education

  • Diploma of Sports Technician
  • Higher Sports Technician Diploma
